Afterschool VTuber, a virtual creator MCN based in South Korea, has announced a special November event for its indie game Afterschool Playground. The campaign runs through the end of the month, featuring prizes for both streamers and general players as part of the game’s global community expansion.
Originally launched on the STOVE Indie platform, Afterschool Playground has gained steady traction among indie game fans. The November event celebrates the game’s official Steam release, scheduled for November 4, and aims to boost creator participation and player engagement.
The highlight of the campaign is a ranking event for streamers. Among the top 10 ranked creators during November, one will be randomly selected to receive either a ₩300,000 (≈ $215 USD) broadcast support grant or 60 subscription vouchers. The draw probability varies by rank — 30 percent for first place, 20 percent for second, and 15 percent for third — rewarding those who actively stream the title. Winners will be notified via an in-game pop-up on December 1.
A separate review event will also be held for general players. Participants who play Afterschool Playground and leave detailed reviews will be entered into a giveaway: two winners will receive chicken meal sets, while five will receive burger sets. Additionally, the “Recommend This Streamer” campaign allows fans to suggest their favorite streamers to play the game, with three pizza gift sets awarded to randomly selected participants.
All events run until November 30, and winners will be announced in early December through Afterschool VTuber’s official channels.
An Afterschool VTuber representative stated, “Afterschool Playground was designed as a community-driven game that both streamers and viewers can enjoy together. Through this event, we hope more people will discover the fun of combining live streaming and gameplay.”
Set in a nostalgic school playground, Afterschool Playground is a 2D pixel-style survival action title featuring fast-paced combat and short session gameplay. It is currently available on STOVE Indie and will be officially released on Steam worldwide starting November 4.
