South Korea’s top cinema brand CGV has announced it will exclusively livestream the headline performance of virtual K-pop sensation ISEGYE IDOL as part of the “Isegye Festival 2025”, set to take place mid-May. The event will be broadcast live on May 17 at 7:50 PM KST, streaming directly to more than 30 CGV theaters across the country, including the flagship location at CGV Yongsan I’Park Mall.
Running from May 16 to 17 at Seoul’s Gocheok Sky Dome, the Isegye Festival has become Korea’s largest hybrid music event, merging virtual and real-life performers on the same stage. Since its first edition in 2023, the festival has rapidly gained traction among domestic and international fans of digital music culture.
The upcoming 130-minute screening will showcase ISEGYE IDOL’s solo concert segment on the second night of the festival. With their massive global fanbase and high-quality musical performances, the group is considered one of the most successful virtual girl groups to emerge from South Korea’s VTuber and virtual idol scene.
Ticket reservations for the CGV livestream will be released in two waves: the first on April 28 at 5:00 PM, and the second on May 7, available via the CGV mobile app and official website. Full event details and exclusive merchandise announcements will also be posted through these platforms.
Attendees of the CGV screenings will receive a limited-edition collector’s item called the “TTT (That’s The Ticket)”, a CGV-exclusive memorabilia that typically serves as a collectible proof of attendance. This marks the first time the TTT will be used for a real-time music livestream event, adding symbolic and sentimental value for fans.
ISEGYE IDOL, a six-member virtual girl group that debuted in 2021, has built a solid reputation through live performances, music show appearances, and diverse original content. Their ability to blend stable vocal skills with unique character storytelling has earned them a prominent spot in the next-generation K-pop ecosystem.
