Virtual MCN company After School VTuber will officially launch its self-developed indie game After School Playground on October 13 through the gaming platform Stove.
The game is a survival-style action title set in a schoolyard, where players must avoid waves of enemies in a limited space and fight to stay alive until the end. Designed with intuitive controls and short playtime, it ensures easy access for all players. Classified as a “Vampire Survivors-like” genre, the title emphasizes fast tempo and streamlined gameplay.
To celebrate the launch, special events are planned. As of October 31 at midnight, the top 10 players on the in-game ranking board will share a total prize pool of KRW 103,100. Additionally, participants in a review event will receive gifticons as rewards.
Notably, the game supports API integration with the Korean streaming platform Chzzk. This allows streamers to link live chat and support features, such as “cheese missions,” directly into gameplay, enhancing interaction and engagement for streaming audiences. Analysts see this as a valuable tool to expand the game’s broadcast appeal.
A representative from After School VTuber stated, “This new release focuses on simple yet immersive gameplay. We plan to roll out more mini-games in the future, expanding our IP.”
